We stopped here on a whim after visiting Mt. Vernon. Great service, amazing food, and very reasonable prices. The pupusas we had were very, very tasty. We were not expecting that "level" of Salvadorean food when we walked in the door. Great, great, great all around!

I hate going out to breakfast because usually I think its a waste of money. However, this place has me coming back. Its breakfast burritos are so great and delicious. The horchatas seems home made and delicious. The pupusas and the sauce is just too delicious. Aside from the delicious food the service is phenomenal just a friendly place. Love it, 5 stars always.

We really enjoy this place. The cheese papusa was really good. Empanada was good. Wrap was good and so was the steak. I would definitely recommend this place.

If you want Waffle House ambience & low cost meals with a multicultural food vibe, Grandma's Famous Cafe is the place to go. I came upon learning about Grandma's Famous Cafe in 2023 in the search of a breakfast burrito, yet never went to the cafe until this year. It did not disappoint in the breakfast burrito department. My husband loved his burrito . I had pupusas for the first time. I tried the one with loroco (flowers) and another kind with pork & cheese. Not exactly my cup of tea but I ate half of each one. The service was good. I liked the low prices for the food. The burrito was delicious. The mix of American and Latin American food on the menu was a delight. The cafe is tiny yet welcoming and easy to find. I liked the live plants placed everywhere in the cafe. I would definitely come back here again for a cheeseburger, omelet, taco, or burrito.

We had the steak and cheese sandwich, pork bean and cheese pupusa, beef empanada, and chorizo taco. Everything was delicious, and the horchata wasn’t too sweet.
